Job Description:

The Crime Scene Cleaning Technician is responsible for on-call response to compassionately and discreetly remediate biohazardous scenes and maintain office/vehicles/other business needs during the interim.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct biohazard cleaning for various types of scenes including but not limited to; suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, hoardings, COVID, and other potentially infectious diseases
  • Maintain exceptional customer service skills
  • Adhere to all processes and procedures
  • Housekeeping (general labor)
  • Maintains vehicle overall appearance and service maintenance
  • Available on-call 24/7 including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Presentable, clean-shaven, and professional appearance
  • Must have reliable means of transportation
  • Other tasks, as assigned by management (i.e. policing, taking out trash, locking gate, etc.)

  • Education/Experience – Highschool Diploma or equivalent, two years of work experience minimum.

  • Mathematical Ability – Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work will be performed in all weather conditions while wearing PPE. Will encounter pungent odors, blood, feces, bodily fluids, grey matter, insects, and other hazards. Will be exposed to hazardous or toxic materials.

Will be required to use hand and power tools frequently. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
